The Central Coast
The Central Coast is a picturesque area just one hour north of
Sydney on the F3 freeway or a scenic journey by electric train. It
basically covers the two shires of Gosford City and Wyong and spans
from its southern most point the Brooklyn Bridge on the F3 freeway to

The Central Coast District Bowling Association (CCDBA) is the overall governing body of these 26 affiliated clubs, and is an integral part of the Royal New South Wales Bowling Association (RNSWBA).
Within bowling circles the CCDBA is also known as Zone 15 as the RNSWBA has the state of New South Wales divided into a total of 16 areas known as Zones to administer the game at a local level.
The CCDBA does not have an office and all its office bearers operate from home. The Zone’s nominated home base club for meetings and special gatherings is the Bateau Bay Bowling Club operated by ‘Canterbury Bulldogs’ who are also the Zone’s major sponsor.
Central Coast bowlers are amongst the best informed bowlers in the state through the initiative of the Zone to appoint a publisher to produce a topical and entertaining magazine titled Coast BOWLS NEWS which is circulated to all clubs free of charge.
