RSL Zone 5 Fours Championship 
2008_4s_final_02_1024x768.jpgRSL Zone 5 Fours Championship Final was played at Gwandalan on Monday 30th June 2008 and was won by Merv Erskine, Mal Campbell, John Edwards and Dick Thornton of  The Greens The Entrance  defeating  Laurie Ware, Ron Murphy, David Cameron and Ray Beasley of Avoca Beach 30 to 15.

On Monday 7th July the Army V's Navy/RAAF day was held at the Avoca Beach Bowling Club with 142 bowlers participating.   A great day was had by all.  The result was Navy/RAAF 9 wins, 3 draws and 320 points defeating Army 5 wins, 3 draws and 297 points.  See a few more photos in the RSL Miscellaneous Gallery of photos.  (Click picture to enlarge).
