We had seven rinks full with all Past President members. We all had a surprise coming once we got onto Green 4 as there were 26 bowls sitting on the bank after the first end. This green was really fast but as with the experience of these participating this was soon overcome and all enjoyed their game of bowls .
After bowls the members occupied Harry’s Restaurant for a Hi Tea of Meat Pies, Fish and Sausage Rolls.
Whilst we waited for this to arrive we had the draw for winners and losers of the various playing positions and then the 100 Club and Raffle were drawn. The club netted in the region of $500 for the day. Thanks to all for participating.
Thanks to all who donated prizes and congratulations to all who won a prize. Next time the losers may be lucky.
