SUPER 9 Finals Played in Good Spirit

The Entrance, Mingara and Everglades were crowned the champions of the Super 9’s A, B & C Grades respectively  at The Entrance BC on Wednesday 31st  October. The finals were keenly contested in almost perfect weather on well manicured greens. In the A grade The Entrance proved too strong for Avoca Beach with a comfortable 10 point to 2 victory. In the B grade the well performed Mingara out played Mooney Mooney with a 10.5 /1.5 victory. In C grade Everglades recorded their first Club tournament victory since winning a Grade 2 Pennant back in 2006 with a convincing 10 to 2 point win over The Entrance. The winning Clubs received $500, the runners-up $200 and all the players received a Bowls Central Coast bowls bag tag.
Bowls Central Coast extends a vote of thanks to The Entrance BC in hosting the finals in a most professional manner and providing some tasty finger food after the game which was            thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all the players.
