Terrigal Capture Back to Back Open Titles

In an impressive display the Terrigal trio of Jeff Watson, Rod Rewko and Darren Morrison outplayed Ettalong’s  Zach Robertson, John Roberts and Lee Trethowan in a most convincing manner to take out the 2019 Bowls Central Coast Triples title 32-12 at Ettalong Memorial BC.
Both teams had strong semi-final wins and it promised to be a crackerjack of a final, but the Terrigal team came out firing and had the title in their keeping leading 19-3 after just eight ends.
Darren Morrison, BCC-Z15 Bowler of the Year in 2018, skipped Terrigal to a Fours title earlier in the year and he is now on track to achieving the “Grand Slam” with just the Pairs and Singles remaining.
