After being delayed for 2 months due to Covid 19 the Bowls Central Coast AGM was finally held on 15th October at Mingara.
All seven Directors of Bowls Central Coast were elected unopposed for a further two years. The Executive Committee for 2020 to 2022 is:
Tony Hegyi (Bateau Bay) - President
Dick Thornton (The Entrance) - Deputy President
David Cameron (Gosford City) - State Councillor
Doug Rose (Ettalong Memorial) - Secretary and Treasurer
Garry Ellis (Wyong) - Director
Brian Emms (Diggers) - Director
John Heaton (Munmorah United) - Director
The new Board will meet on Monday 26th October 2020 to appoint the Match and Selection Committees as well as a number of other individual appointments. The lists of 2021-2022 Office Bearers will be published after that meeting.
The exception to this is that Albert Heath declined to re stand for election. Albet has been a part of the Executive Committee of Bowls Central Coast since its inception in 1995 as the Central Coast District Bowling Association - Zone 15 Inc. Albert has now been appointed as a Patron of Bowls Central Coast a role he now shares jointly with his good friend John Peek.
