The Lakes Trophy played between Central Coast and Lake Macquarie took place on Friday 16th September 2022 at Halekulani Bowling Club. This annual event had not been played for 2 years because of restrictions due to the pandemic.
There were 28 selected players, in teams of 4, from each District. Format: 18 ends. Scores were added across the rinks on the Master Board. The District with the most aggregate score on completion of ends were the winner.
Lake Macquarie were this year’s winners with a total of 138 points to Central Coast’s 99. Congratulations to them. It wasn’t Central Coast’s day with only 3 individual rink wins.
