The end has finally arrived for Woy Woy Bowling Club, having played their last competitive team game in Round 10 of Open Pennants at Wyong BC on Saturday 29th April.
In there 89 year of existence, the most important win for the club was winning the State No7 Grade Pennant in 2017. That in itself is an outstanding achievement, especially for a small club.
Players that played in the last game are pictured above with some club officials.
Players are: Kevin Thorpe, Edmund Burgess, Colin Nuss, Bruce Bennett, Vince Chand, Greg Simon, Thomas Van Dam, Steven Collins, Mackenzie Cook, Tony Press, Chris Newell and James Cook.
For the record, Woy Woy went out winners 57 - 47, 9 points to 1.
