Hali brothers Warren and Graham Smith were in good form to take out the Bowls Central Coast Veteran Pairs title from the Munmorah United duo of Ted Holmes and Ken Doonan played at The Entrance BC on Friday 21st July 2017. Both finalists had enjoyed good wins throughout their respective sectional play but the Smith boys combined well in the final to overshadow their opponents. For Munmorah’s Ted Holmes it was the second consecutive year he had reached a Veteran’s final, having been the runner-up in the 2016 Singles final. It is great to see that competitive spirit amongst these over 70 year old Veterans is still as keen as ever.
